Summer Fruit!

I'm Welcome Crafty friends!
I am enjoying the summer and with that that means coloring fun summer images. So today I am sharing this cute image that totally makes me think of a summer fun picnic. You can fine her here.

I used Doodlebug Design "Sunkissed" 6x6 paper pack (again) for this card... Can I just say this paper pack is so perfect for summer card making.

The stamp is from a Studio Calico PL kit, and the solid card stock is just basic yellows and oranges from my paper stash.

Hey! It's another Color and Create me, Tiffany.

I am super excited about today's card from My Besties. I chose an image that reminded me of the phrase "Peek a boo".
Your can find this image here...

I made a really simple card that says a lot.
The image used is framed in a Mama Elephant die.

On the back of all my cards I use a personal stamp that I had made at my local office store.

I used this paper pack by Doodlebug Design which I am loving.
It is perfect for this time of the year.

This was a up close and personal image these are all the markers I used.
Skin: E21/11/13/15
Eyes: YG91/93/95/99
Hair: N10/08/06/04

Bow: RV02/04/06/19
Yellow button

I keep all my embellishment in these cases that I purchased from Stampin' Up. Each case is covered with color card stock and inside are embellishments that match the outside.

Here is the finished card!

Fairy Fun

Welcome back! It's time for another Create and Color post from yours truly, Tiffany.

I colored this cute little fairy in a jar using my Copics.

I must say Fairies are one of my favorite things to color. You can do so much with them. I really enjoy coloring their wings two tone.

I used Tim Holtz Rays stencil for the background and sprayed Dylusions Lemon Zest, along with Dusty Concord Distress Ink along the bottom. I then finished it off with a simple stamp from Studio Calico monthly kit.

Color and Create with Tiffany Toldson

Hey! It's me again, here with another fun card.

I used this My Bestie image, which I thought screamed Happy Spring.

I used one of my go to skin tones... E000/00/11/21/04
Though E04 is a low number it's darker then the E11/21 so I used this color to add depth and richness in her skin tone.

After looking through my paper I decided to go with the color scheme from my June Simon Say's Stamp card kit. I wanted to do a Mix Media style card base so I only use the turquoise paper from the kit which is from Doodlebug Design 6x6 paper pack.

Copic Love!!!

The process for the base of my card... I took Tim Holtz, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers distress inks and  wiped each one across the smooth side of my acrylic stamping block, then I sprayed some water over the top. Once I liked the way the colors were mixed I layed it on some white water color paper. It was quite wet so I took a kitchen roll and blotted the extra. At first I only chose 3 colors but I didn't like the way it turned out so I added two more.

This is what it looked like once it was blotted dry. I then cut around the wavy border and inked it with Vintage Photo distress ink.

I added two Prima paper flowers along with a Sentiment from Sweet Wishes stamp set by Penny Black that also came in my Simon Say's Stamp June's kit.

Create and color

Welcome my coloring and crafty friends to My Blog.

I am excited to share another one of my cards with you!
What fun I had coloring and making this card. You can find the My Bestie image HERE.

I picked out some Spring time paper from Doodlebug. I must admit, sometime when grabbing colors I forget the importance of picking paper first. When I don't do this step first it slows me down.

The image is "fussy cut" and backed with puff tape to give it a 3D feel. I also added yellow glitter to her bow, shoes and flowers to make them pop! The grass was a creation of my labor... I used the "flicking" technique to create the Illusion of her sitting.
Learning to ground your images can be challenging but fun.

Cheeks: E04
Pink: RV00/21/23/25
Green shirt: YG17/25/21
Yellow: Y18/15/11

Yellow glitter: Zazz/Honeycomb

Tiffany Toldson

Welcome my coloring and crafty friends today I am posting an image I did for Creative Blog for Sherri Baldy My Besties

To start this party, let me tell you a little about myself. My Name is Tiffany, I'm a wife, mother of 6 girls and I LOVE crafts!

I have always been pretty crafty from sewing to scrapbooking and everything in between. However about 2 years ago I found my "craft love," Copics!
It all started when I wanted to make a personalized card and went to YouTube to find my answer. EVERY video I came across kept mentioning how they "colored this cute little image with their Copic markers." That lead me on a search to find out what the heck Copic markers were. Once I found them I felt like I had to have them (all) and know how to use them. I found a few digital artists and started coloring like crazy.
However at the end of 2014, I set a goal for myself to become a Design Team member. I knew it would take me coloring more and posting more on social media, so thats what I did. I created a birthday file that I would use as my source of card making.
Then it happened... the amazing Deirdre Smith contacted me about My Besties DT and I knew it was going to be GREAT, so here I am and here's my first post!

I am so excited to share today's card with you! I enjoyed coloring this sassy Hippo, she can be purchased HERE

When starting a card project I like to choose my paper first (that doesn't always happen). This process helps me pick out my Copic marker colors and embellishments before hand so that I'm not all over the place.

New Baby... New Life

It's been a long time since I've posted but life these days have me in a mood to talk/type.
We welcomed a new baby girl into our family March 24, 2015 at 6:35pm.
Labor was longer then I had experienced before but the delivery was pretty quick!

Four pushes and a truck load of pain later she entered the world. Ibrie Sky... coming in at 6lbs and 19in. the third biggest girl we've had.

I was amazed at the amount of strength I had to have after finding out it was too late to be given ANY pain medication. They had give me the "liquid devil" (you may call it Pitocin) and some of you may know that this medicine causes unnatural contractions so being told no pain relief was available was very hard to hear... Nevertheless I did it!!!

This man is my BIGGEST fan... He was amazing. I would not have made it through this experience without him.
